This policy explains how we process the personal data of those who contact Unité Arquitectura, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
- Controller: Antonio José Caja Martínez (Unité Arquitectura)
- Address: C/ Rambla Baja 2, 03360 Callosa de Segura (Alicante)
- Email: unitearquitectura@gmail.com
- Telephone: +34 633 39 85 44
2. What data we process
This website has no forms and does not collect data for advertising purposes. We process the data you provide when you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and any information about your project or property that you choose to send us, including, where necessary for the commission, technical, cadastral or land registry documentation.
In addition, to know which pages are visited and to improve the website, we use our own analytics (Independent Analytics), which runs on our own server, without cookies and without sending data to third parties. It does not store your IP address: it uses it only at the moment of the visit to estimate the country and city and to generate a one-way encrypted identifier that does not reveal who you are. This gives us aggregated statistics, such as page views, where visits come from or device type.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiries and preparing quotes or fee proposals | Taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.b) |
| Providing the professional services commissioned and processing them with public authorities and professional associations | Performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b) |
| Complying with tax, accounting and professional obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c) |
| Producing aggregated statistics on use of the website | Legitimate interest in understanding and improving how the website works (Art. 6.1.f) |
We do not carry out profiling or take automated decisions.
4. How long we keep the data
- Enquiries that do not lead to a commission: for the time needed to deal with them and for one year at most.
- Clients: for as long as the professional relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the statutory retention and liability limitation periods, including those set out in tax legislation and in the Building Act (Ley de Ordenación de la Edificación).
- Visitor statistics: these are aggregated data that do not identify you, and we keep them for as long as they are useful for analysing how the site develops.
5. Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties except where required by law or where necessary for the commission, for example to public authorities, town halls, professional associations, notaries or registries in the procedures you have commissioned from us.
To operate, we use providers that may access data on our behalf:
- Hostinger, web hosting, with servers in the European Union.
- Google, email service.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us that way.
Some of these providers may carry out international data transfers to the United States, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to unitearquitectura@gmail.com or by post to the address given above, providing proof of your identity. If you consider that we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access: encrypted connection (HTTPS), daily backups and restricted access with two-step verification.
8. Minors
This website is not aimed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly process their data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the website itself. The current version is always the one published on this page.
